What is Membership
To be a member of a church is to make a commitment to be shaped by the story of God in the Bible, and to be an active participant in a church family. Membership is not just about what you get, but also about what you give, serving the church and the city.
In membership, a person moves from being just a consumer of spiritual goods to becoming a provider of God’s love and care to others.
Why Membership?
The New Testament presents a picture of definable groups of believers who identified themselves with a particular local body. Church membership enables us to implement the principles of accountability, encouragement, and commitment to the local body of Christ, as defined in the New Testament and practiced in the early church. What to Expect
Steps Towards Membership
We are passionate about being a community that follows Jesus, makes him known, seeking the renewal of our city. If you’re interested in pursuing membership at Reality Church London, the steps in the process are:
Attend a Membership class online
Submit a brief application
Meet up with one of our church leaders
1. Membership Class
Membership classes will be held regularly throughout the year online via Teams and so please click on the tab below and explore on our events page which class you’d like to attend before signing up.
2. Submit an application
After you have attended a Membership Class, you will be sent a brief application. Please don’t think of this as a ‘test’ in which you have to submit the right answers. Rather, think of this form as just a simple way for us to get to know your story a little better, as we continue to walk together as a church family.
3. Get to know a church leader
During the membership process you'll also have a chance to get to know a leader in our church. We're very much looking forward to building a relationship with you, alongside giving space to discuss and answer any questions you might have.
